08/07-08/09 - Teen 3-Day Camp

The Kids at Heart Teen 3-Day Overnight Adventure Camp will be a fun, engaging opportunity for teens to learn, grow, and explore in a supportive environment as they challenge themselves and expand their comfort zones. The No Barriers Mountain Campus is a one step from wilderness overnight summer camp based in Colorado’s spectacular foothills. Teen 3-Day Overnight Adventure Camp

• Ages: 13-17 yrs of age.
• Registration: Limited to 15 participants (plus 3 on the waiting list, in case of cancellations)
• Registration fee: $30 per participant (Scholarships are available for families who need help with the cost. Please reach out to Ethan at ethan@kidsatheartco.org for more information.)
   
• Location: No Barriers mountain campus (The drop-off/pick-up site will be in Fort Collins. Transportation to/from NO BARRIERS mountain campus will be provided.)
• Camping/outdoor gear is available if needed! - If your teen is missing any key items for camp (ex: hiking boots, warm jacket, sleeping bag, etc), they can borrow items from No Barriers for the camp!
   
• Teens will participate in a variety of activities, such as art, group discussions, and cooking meals together around camp, as well as daily outdoor adventures such as the challenge course, hiking, and more. Camp activities are facilitated by No Barriers with a focus on mindset, identity, and belonging. Campers also learn to build resilience, hope, and optimism as they engage in No Barriers' growth programming.
• Kids At Heart staff and trained volunteers will be present alongside the teens, to cheer them on and provide added support as they learn new skills, take on new challenges, and build meaningful connections at camp.

• Please fill out the NO BARRIERS info form*: https://nobarriers.tfaforms.net/4799923 This is separate from our KAH forms. NO BARRIERS staff needs specific information (allergies, physical limitations, etc) pertinent to participation in the camp activities.
