5/23- Teen Connect Outdoor Grounding Program

Welcome to our outdoor Teen Grounding program! Our focus is to create a safe and fun environment to continue to develop our sense of community with each other and connection to ourselves.  based on emotional intelligence, resiliency, and being a teenager in today's age. We will also be doing various activities together, such as therapeutic horticulture programming, making arts and crafts, playing outdoor/yard games, and nature walks with goats to the ponds and river nearby  

• Attendees are encouraged to bring water bottles. We also frequently get our hands in the dirt and paint, so bring clothes that can potentially get some colors added to them.

• NOTE: Teen Grounding events are currently being held weekly on Fridays. Teens do not have to attend every week in order to participate in this program, though we welcome them to register and join us for as many events as they'd like.

Please review our updated Check-in process for all Teen Connect events:

• DROP-OFF is at 3:30pm*. PICK-UP is at 6:30pm.
  * If you can’t arrive right at 3:30pm, just let us know ahead of time when to expect you. We understand that work and drive times vary from family to family, and we’d still love for your teen to be able to join us.
  • Caregivers will be required to sign our check-in sheet at Drop-off and Pick-up.
  • If another adult (besides the caregiver(s) listed on your Caregiver Info Form) will be picking up or dropping off your teen:
    • Provide us with their first and last name ahead of time (either at check-in or in advance via email).
    • The alternate adult must provide a photo ID to show us, so we can ensure that teens arrive and leave with the correct adult. :-)
