Description

The Young Ascenders Climb Outdoors!

What: Professionally guided outdoor climbing session, gear provided at no cost!
When: Sept. 4th (7:15am-12:30pm)
Who: YOU! KAH Teens who have been climbing at Ascent Studio on top rope and passed our safety assessment (You must first demonstrate: Tie Figure 8 follow through knot, Verbal safety check, and climb roped routes at the gym before you head out with us).
Jeff is our guide - he’s the adult program director for Ascent Studio and a local NoCo Climbing guide. Your leaders will be there to support you, including Maribeth, Cory, Sasha, and Spencer!
Where: All participants will meet in the parking lot of Ascent Studio at 7:15am SHARP.
(We will carpool in 2 vehicles to the climbing location due to extremely limited parking in the canyon). The climbing location is nearby in Poudre Canyon (the crag is called Low Hanging Fruit - find it on Mountain Project) just past the Picnic Rock swimming area. Our guide Jeff professionally developed this area himself for groups like ours -- pretty special!
